I know prompting can seem easy at first glance. Go to your favorite AI tool, type in what you want, and then watch AI generate a ton of options in seconds.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s hardly that straightforward.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

If your prompts aren\u2019t specific, AI generates results based on what it thinks<\/em> you want. It\u2019s similar to hiring a new team member and expecting them to produce results without giving them any context about your goals, audience, or the stage of your business. Rushed instructions will produce generic, off-brand outputs.<\/p>\n

My best prompts give AI a starting point. That\u2019s either tons of data or context, a detailed brief, or specific examples of what I want the output to look like. Then, I experiment and refine.<\/p>\n
